// About PartFlow

An engineer.
A spreadsheet problem.
A stubborn rule.

I'm Sean, a mechanical engineer in Australia. My day job is machines: things that are designed, calculated, and tested, because when machinery guesses, people get hurt. That mindset is the whole reason PartFlow exists.

I kept watching parts sellers, including people close to me, lose their evenings to supplier spreadsheets. Every week the same ritual happens: a supplier emails price files and someone then spends hours in Excel fixing part numbers, sanity-checking prices, and praying the import doesn't quietly wreck the store. We are only human, and a single misplaced decimal going live at $4.99 instead of $499 means the weekend is spent processing refunds.

What shocked me wasn't the mess, I mean, every supplier will always export a different form of chaos to the next. It was that every import tool on the market just... trusts the file. They move whatever data is there, whether it's right or wrong... They don't actually check the data... And the newest apps coming out today? They use AI to guess what your columns mean, which makes me feel uneasy when it's accuracy and reliability we want.

So I built the tool I'd want standing between a messy file and a live store, and I gave it one stubborn rule from my engineering life: never guess. Every row is checked by fixed, inspectable logic. Anything the engine can't prove gets held for your review with a plain-English reason, and it never touches your store until it's resolved. And because even careful systems should assume they'll be wrong someday, every sync is snapshotted so one click puts everything back the way it was.

The rules PartFlow lives by

No AI near your money

Part numbers, prices, and quantities are handled only by deterministic rules you could audit line by line. AI never writes, guesses, or "fixes" a value in your catalog. Ever.

Refuse, don't guess

A file the engine can't make sense of gets refused with a reason — not imported "best effort." Unproven rows wait for you. The good rows never wait for the bad ones.

Everything is reversible

Every sync records the exact prior state of everything it touches. Undo is one click, and always visible.

Small on purpose

PartFlow isn't a venture-backed platform chasing twelve markets. It's one product, for parts sellers, built carefully.

If you sell parts online and you're tired of being your suppliers' unpaid data-entry department, I built this for you. Try the live demo on your worst file. This demo runs entirely in your browser, nothing gets uploaded, and if it makes you feel something, get on the list.
